So it has taken us a week to get over that bank holiday weekend 🤣🙈 What a weekend it was!!!🤩🤩🤩 Firstly we would like to start by thanking Grahame and Margaret for helping to organise a fundraiser with AEDdonate for a defibrillator to be located at The piper A BIG thank you to Darren James Alan Whitley and Jacey Gregory for keeping the cycling going. Darren and Alan donated their exercise bike so that we could do a Girls vs Boys. It started off amazing with the community getting involved and helping out. Unfortunately we had a few issues with one of the bikes so instead of an overall winner, I would like to let you all know that together we cycled over 1000km during 11am - 8pm!!! Absolutely amazing!! Well done everyone!!! I am sure most of you have now seen the videos 🤣🤣 We would like to thank all who took part in our extreme chicken wing competition. You certainly kept us entertained!! Well done to Graham Daltrey who was crowned champion!!! 🍗🔥🥛🤩 He now has a automatic entry for our next comp🤣🤣🤣 We would also like to thank the kids who came along and entered our hot dog competition, it was very close between Will and Bobby, but Bobby just got in there and won 1st place 🥇🌭 Thanks to all our lovely ladies who once again supplied us with some delicious baked goods! We had sausage rolls, quiche, brownies, cakes and scones!! They absolutely flew out and tasted amazing!! 😋 A BIG thanks to everyone who came along and supported us, we had a fantastic day!! 🚨🚨🚨Now for the BIG NEWS...📢📢📢 On the donation page online we raised £1054 And on the day in the pub we raised £900!!!! That's a total of £1954!!! We honestly cant thank you enough!!! But it doesn't end there.... We have had the most AMAZING and GENEROUS donation. One of our fabulous regular customers has gone and BOUGHT the defibrillator for The Piper!!!! 😱😱 He doesn't want to be named but would like to have his sons name sponsor it, so a MASSIVE THANK YOU to Jaxon Dudley!!!!! This is the most amazing news because not only do we now have a defibrillator at The Piper (waiting to be installed) we have raised enough to have a 2nd one located on Canadian Avenue!! This is brilliant news for the residents of Hoole! Hopefully they won't be needed but incase of an emergency, we now have the option of two!! We are blown away by all the support, love and generosity! As outsiders of Chester, we really feel welcomed, supported and proud to be part of an amazing community and Hoole ❤️
